During an interview with We Got This Covered, Duffy revealed that he’s been in talks with executives about a potential series based on his films.
No network has picked up the series yet, but Duffy indicated that the show would be on a channel like HBO or AMC.
Indeed, in order to stay faithful to the films, the series would have to be on cable — the cursing and violence that comprise like 99% of the film would never fly on broadcast television. And yes, stars Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery are expected to reprise their roles.
Here’s Duffy’s exact quote about the potential series:
