Hitman Absolution to be shown on Day One of E3 2011
Today Square Enix has revealed Hitman Absolution via the official YouTube Channel and this teaser trailer.
The clip shows Agent 47 apply a suppressor and a mysterious bar code which, to me at least, could imply the reveal date of 06/07/11 which is the first day of E3.
Alan Wake: Kinect, Prequel, or Multi-Platform?
StickSkills.com writes, "With downloadable content and “Alan Wake 2” being immediately ruled out, our brains began to think on what would make the most sense.
It definitely has to be a game, as they make sure to point out “platforms”, but will it be a multiple platform release?
Take a look at our three best guesses on what the new Alan Wake title will be."
Kotick: Console price cuts 'in the works'
Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has strongly hinted that Microsoft and Sony are planning to cut the prices of Xbox 360 and PS3 respectively.

E3 2011 Countdown - Bioshock Infinite
MMGN.com writes: Amazing art style has carried over to Bioshock Infinite, the third title in the series from 2K games.
The stunning architecture, deep narrative and strong action/RPG elements will be sure to return, making this entry in the series quite possibly the most interesting.

E3 2011 - Microsoft: Confirmed Appearances & Rumors
http://www.gamemunition.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Microsoft-E3-2011.jpg (http://www.gamemunition.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Microsoft-E3-2011.jpg)
Microsoft has already sent out its invites to the press for its upcoming E3 conference.
The conference will be taking place at the Galen Theatre on Monday, June 6 at 9.00AM PST /12.00PM EST/5.00PM BST.
Considering last year’s weak showing at E3 and this year’s exclusive lineup; all the pressure is on Microsoft.
Its understandable if they are keeping their cards close to their chest, however this is also a great chance for them to capitalize considering the recent PSN fiasco.
In order to build up more hype Microsoft has released a new banner showing various items splattered across it which might indicate what might be in store for us this E3.
http://www.gamemunition.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Microsoft-E3-Invite.jpg (http://www.gamemunition.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Microsoft-E3-Invite.jpg)
Confirmed Appearances
As mentioned previously not a lot has been confirmed by Microsoft for this year’s E3.
However here is a list of confirmed games/studios who are expected to show a demo or at least make an announcement.

Rise Of Nightmares by Sega (Kinect title)

Unnamed Title by Good Science Games (Probably a Kinect title)
XCOM by 2K Games
Also releasing this year and hence likely to show up on the floor:
Doodle Jump (Kinect title)
Hulk Hogan’s Main Event by Majesco.
The Rumors
We can’t have an E3 without rumors, they sure add to the hype factor.
Of all the three big companies Microsoft is notorious for stealing exclusives off the other companies.
From the appearance of Hideo Kojima on the Microsoft stage to Final Fantasy XIII demo over the last 2 years.
We can’t deny Microsoft’s ability to keep things interesting till the end.
This year has a long list of rumors and even if half of them turn out to be true we can bet Microsoft fan boys will wet their pants.
Although a lot of them are related to Kinect and this might steer away some hard core fans.

Could E3 be Microsoft's launch pad for Project 'Orapa'?
Maybe the “big reveal” will be Project Orapa. For those who need a quick codename refresher, Orapa is the working name for a combination of Xbox Live and Microsoft’s Mediaroom IPTV. It would give Microsoft a way to turn TV into a service that it could deliver to Xbox customers first, and Windows, Windows Phone and set-top-box customers, later.

Microsoft Xbox LIVE Diamond subscription IPTV tipped for E3 2011 (http://www.slashgear.com/microsoft-xbox-live-diamond-subscription-iptv-tipped-for-e3-2011-03156696/)
Details of Microsoft’s E3 2011 (http://www.slashgear.com/tags/e3-2011) launch have leaked, and as expected it’s a new IPTV service baked into Xbox LIVE.
The company is putting the finishing touches to Xbox LIVE Diamond, WinRumors (http://www.winrumors.com/xbox-live-diamond-subscription-tv-service-to-debut-at-e3/)‘ source claims, the official name for the much-rumored Project Orapa (http://slashgear.com/search/project+orapa).
The Diamond TV system will combine existing mediaroom IPTV services and Xbox LIVE, harnessing Kinect (http://www.slashgear.com/tags/microsoft-kinect)-based motion control along with various music and video offerings.
http://cdn.slashgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/mediaroom_TV_apps_web-580x326-11.jpg
Microsoft’s demonstration is expected to consist of the Kinect avatar control, as well as the IPTV streaming, assuming it can sign off on the rights before the keynote.
“Microsoft is currently in last minute negotiations to secure the necessary agreements in time” the source claims, pointing to Apple’s similar talks over iCloud (http://www.slashgear.com/tags/icloud).
Xbox LIVE Diamond is rumored to be the first stage in a standalone hardware IPTV push (http://www.slashgear.com/microsoft-tv-project-gets-new-hardware-expert-boss-24142321/) by Microsoft, powered by special SoC’s based on Silverlight.
Ex-Microsoft Hardware head Tom Gibbons shifted over to the TV and Services business, in a move that’s said to be at least partly connected to the “Xbox LIVE, Kinect & Mediaroom mash-up.”
Microsoft’s other announcements at E3 are believed to be around a new “Fusion” line of branded products or services, with trademarks for “Fusion Vault”, “Fusion Genesis” and “Fusion Sentient” all having been spotted.
The domain xboxfusion.com has also been acquired.
Finally, there’s Microsoft Ventura (http://www.slashgear.com/microsoft-working-on-new-music-and-video-service-dubbed-ventura-08138701/), a set of streaming music and video services that uses social networking and recommendations to promote new content.
SlashGear will be at E3 2011 next week, bringing you back all the details of what Microsoft – and others – announce!
