Call of Duty Black Ops: Sind Berlin und München die ersten DLC-Schauplätze?

Wie bereits von Treyarch angekündigt, wird es für Call of Duty Black Ops zukünftig eine Menge Download-Content geben. Ein Shooter-Fan hat scheinbar in den Dateien zum veröffentlichten Hauptspiel nun etliche Screenshots ausfindig gemacht, die möglicherweise auf DLC-Maps von Call of Duty Black Ops hinweisen.
Darunter zu finden sind unter anderem eine Map mit München-Setting sowie eine Karte, die in Berlin angesiedelt ist.

Dass es für Call of Duty Black Ops zahlreichen Zusatzinhalt geben wird, das haben die Verantwortlichen vom Publisher Activision und vom Entwicklerstudio Treyarch bereits offiziell bekannt gegeben.
Jedoch lassen genauere Details und Informationen zum Black Ops-DLC noch auf sich warten.

Ein User der Fanseite callofdutyseries.de ist nun auf etliche Bilder und Ladescreens in den Dateien des Hauptspiels gestoßen, die er über die besagte Homepage veröffentlicht hat.
Darunter sind unter anderem Screenshots mit dem Titel "mp_berlin" und "mp_munich" zu sehen.
Ob es sich bei den Bildern lediglich um Platzhalter, oder ob es sich dabei bereits um kommende DLC-Maps für Black Ops handelt, bleibt abzuwarten.

Sowohl Activision als auch Treyarch haben sich diesbezüglich noch nicht zu Wort gemeldet.

Aber ich freue mich natürlich auch auf viel DLC..solange er nicht zu teuer ist!

Black Ops First Strike DLC Announced 01. February


Earlier this evening, Major Nelson posted his weekly podcast and with it came some exciting Black Ops news.

Dan Bunting, from Treyarch Studios, joined Major Nelson's show for a quick interview to announce the brand new DLC set to release for Black Ops.
It was mentioned that it had been previously arranged that the DLC would be exclusive for the 360 for a period of time.
The release date was also announced to be February 1.
The DLC is titled First Strike and includes 4 new multiplayer maps and 1 new zombie map.
The price will be 1200 MSP ($15).

Hier noch paar Details...

Enthalten sind mehrere Mehrspieler-Karten. "Discovery" und "Kowloon" basieren beide auf Kampagnen-Missionen und finden in einer Forschungsstation der Deutschen und in China statt. "Stadium" ist hingegen in einer amerikanischen Eishockey-Arena angesiedelt, während es in "Berlin Wall" am Checkpoint Charlie zur Sache geht.
"Ascension" ist im Gegensatz zu den anderen Karten nur für den Zombie-Modus gedacht.

Black Ops Map Pack 2?

We are not 100% sure about this, but it looks like Treyarch gave away the names of maps from map pack 2.
Not intentionally of course.
Yes you read it correctly, it says Black Ops (http://www.callofduty-community.com/category/black-ops/) Map Pack 2.
Not Black Ops Map Pack 1 (http://www.callofduty-community.com/black-ops/inevitable-black-ops-dlc-announced/).

I put a question mark in the title of the article because we are not sure whether this really is about the maps you can expect in Black Ops’ second map pack.
The rumor of a map pack 2 started with a video on our forums (http://www.callofduty-community.com/forum/black-ops-multiplayer/map-pack-2-confirmed/) (at least for me).
The video was removed due to a copyright claim. Activision (http://www.callofduty-community.com/tag/activision/) wasn’t too happy with this video it seems. Soon after the video players wanted to see whether this was true or not.
And lo and behold, what they saw in the video turned out to be true.
In case you are wondering what you could see in the video. It were names of maps from map pack 1 and even map pack 2.
The names you can see were:


Berlin Wall (Map Pack 1)
Discovery (Map Pack 1)
Kowloon (Map Pack 1)
Stadium (Map Pack 1)
Cargo (Map Pack 2)
Cubatown (Map Pack 2)
Hotel (Map Pack 2)
Icebreaker (Map Pack 2)
Outskirts (Map Pack 2)

Like I said before, we are not 100% these are the names of maps from map pack 2, but seeing as it has the names of maps from map pack 1 already, I’ve got a feeling the rest are names from map pack 2.
What do you have to say about all of this?
Do you think these are names from the second Black Ops map pack?

The new zombie map included in the upcoming First Strike map pack will include two new weapons and two new perks. Ascension is set in a abandoned Soviet cosmodrome and has you playing as one of the regular cast of characters (Takeo, Nikoli, Dempsey, and Rictoffen).

New Perks:
Stamin-up
PhD Flopper

Details of the weapons and perks have yet to be released.

Also a new enemy will make an appearance in the form of 'Space Monkeys' who steal your perks.

First Strike sells 1.4 million in 24 hours

The First Strike map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, released last week as a timed exclusive on Xbox 360, was purchased over 1.4 million times in its first 24 hours on sale, Activision has announced.
Activision also confirmed that First Strike would be available on PS3 March 3, 2011 and on the PC later in the quarter.

First Strike is sold for 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.28/€14.40/$15.00). Add that figure up and you're looking at a whopping 1680000000 Microsoft Points (£14391999.89/€20160000/$ 21000000).

Upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops “Zombie” DLC to feature Danny Trejo, Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar & Michael Rooker

Danny Trejo just dropped a bomb on his facebook account.
He is working with Treyarch for a upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops “Zombie” map (Map Pack 2?).
The new characters to be featured are Danny Trejo, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooker, and Robert Englund.
Danny was at the “House of Moves” doing motion capture for the upcoming Zombie Map.

As you all know, Danny Trejo played “Machete” in the hit film of the same name.
Now for those not of this Earth, Robert Englund played the original Freddy Kruger in the Nightmare on Elm Street films and Sarah Michelle Gellar played “Buffy” the vampire slayer in the TV series.
For those unfamiliar with “Michael Rooker”, he played the lead character in “Henry: Protrait of a Serial Killer and also played Merle Dixon in Season One of “The Walking Dead”.

No official word from Activision or Treyarch, but it is safe to say that this is true if Danny is posting pictures of himself in a motion capture suit.

I also doubt anybody would say “Machete” is telling a bogus story.

Awesome and Unique Black Ops Trailer is Deploying Next Week - Second Strike??

Treyarch's Community Manager Josh Olin, aka JD2020,tweeted about a new Call of Duty Trailer that is going live next week.
Could it be a trailer for the second map pack, which is obviously going to be called Second Strike?
Or a trailer for the PS3 version of the first map pack, First Strike. "Just saw a rough cut of a pretty awesome / unique #CODBlackOps (http://twitter.com/search?q=%23CODBlackOps) trailer that's dropping next week.

I think you guys will enjoy it! "

He didn't use a PS3, Xbox 360, a PC tag, which could imply that the trailer is for all Black Ops players, so it might as well be a trailer for second strike.

New Black Ops Map Pack

New details regarding the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops map pack have been revealed, via GAME Australia’s website (http://www.game.com.au/codescalation).

It’s difficult to garner too much info, but the pack in question is called ‘Escalation’ and looks to feature a new Zombies map, in addition to the new multiplayer arenas.
Once again, it’s tough to gather any real concrete info from this reveal, but a map… in a zoo?
That’s bound to be… interesting.
From the wording it also looks as though each map has been designed around specific objective based game types.

The date on the advertisement is May 3, but we’re unsure whether that’s just the date the expansion will go on sale at retail, or whether that’s the date it’ll go onsale digitally as well.
More news as we get it.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Escalation Kartenpaket für Mai bestätigt!

Zuvor wurde bereits in einer älteren News gemutmaßt, dass es im Mai ein neues Kartenpaket zu Call of Duty: Black Ops geben wird, doch heute bestätigt Hersteller Activision auch offiziell einen entsprechenden Veröffentlichungstermin.

So wird das sogenannte „Escalation Map Pack“ nun definitiv am 3. Mai 2011 als Download zur Verfügung stehen.
Preislich wird das Ganze jedoch wohl wieder mit üppigen 15 Euro, bzw. 1.200 Microsoft-Punkten zu Buche schlagen.
Doch die hohen Preise haben in der Vergangenheit allerdings wenige Spieler davon abgehalten entsprechend zuzuschlagen, wobei der Preis noch nicht bestätigt wurde.
Auf jeden Fall bekommen die Xbox 360 Spieler, dank dem „Drei-Jahres-Exklusivitätsabkommen“, insgesamt fünf neue Karten geliefert.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Hinweis auf drittes Map Pack?

Call of Duty: Black Ops hat mit "Escalation" und "First Strike" bereits zwei kostenplfichtige Map-Packs erhalten, doch es geht offenbar weiter.
So ist auf einem Flyer von GameStop ein weiterer DLC aufgetaucht, falls es sich um keinen Fake handelt.
Darauf sind nebem dem Schriftzug "Downloadable Content is better at GameStop" auch die Karten vermerkt, die in dem neuen Paket enthalten sein sollen.

Erwähnt werden vier Karten für den Mehrspielerpart ("Hangar 18", "Hazard," "Silo" und "Drive-in") sowie eine Map für den Zombie-Modus.
Das Ganze soll dann unter dem Namen "Retaliation" verkauft werden.
Weitere Details oder gar ein Termin sind noch nicht bekannt.
Ob die Xbox 360 erneut eine Zeitexklusivität erhält, ist ebenfalls unbekannt, da eine offizielle Bestätigung noch aussteht.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Map Pack 3 Titled Annihilation?


Inbound 6.28.11?

Yesterday leaked picture of the upcoming Map Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops found its way on the interest.
Today an image suggest the title of the Map Pack, as well as its release date.

The picture suggest a release date of 6-28-11 which is less than 2 weeks away but the Map Pack has no official announcement as of yet.

The multiplayer maps included in this pack are:
HANGAR 18
SILO
DRIVE-IN
HAZARD
The Zombie map still remains unnamed but is labeled “Obliterate the Zombies”.

Activision did announce the 2nd Map Pack for Black Ops entitled “Escalation” 3 weeks before its release, so it’s possible this release date is accurate.

Activision hat das Ganze mittlerweile bestätigt.
Es geht tatsächlich am 28. Juni 2011 für die Xbox 360-Spieler los.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Die neue Zombie-Map im affigen Trailer

Call of Duty: Black Ops bekommt bekanntlich am 28. Juni 2011 via Xbox Live einen neuen DLC spendiert.
Dabei handelt es sich um das "Annihilation" Map-Pack.
Preislich muss man sich auf 1.200 Microsoft Punkte einstellen.
Mit an Bord sind die vier Karten für den Mehrspielerpart ("Hangar 18", "Hazard," "Silo" und "Drive-in") sowie eine Map ("Shangri-La") für den Zombie-Modus.
Jene Zombie-Map wird nun in einem neuen Video vorgestellt, inklusive untoter Affen und netter Musik.

Die PlayStation 3 und der PC werden wie schon auch bei "Escalation" und "First Strike" wahrscheinlich rund einen Monat später versorgt.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Retaliation: geleakte Details zum 4. Mappack

Das 3. Mappack „Annihilation“ für Call of Duty: Black Ops ist noch nicht mal erschienen, doch schon verdichten sich die Details zu einem möglichen vierten Mappack. Nach First Strike, Escalation und Annihilation folgt nun der Gegenschlag: Retaliation. Erscheinen soll das Mappack vermutlich irgendwann im September.

Bereits Anfang Mai sorgte beim Release von „Escalation“ ein kleiner Bug auf XboX Live für Gerüchte, dass ein weiteres 3. Kartenpaket geplant sei mit dem Namen „Retaliation“ (wir berichteten). Der dritte DLC kam tatsächlich, doch der Name bestätigte sich nicht. Nun wurden weitere Informationen geleaked die vermuten lassen, dass das Ende der DLC-Fahnenstange noch nicht erreicht ist.

Das neue Mappack soll (wie üblich) ingesamt fünf Maps enthalten, davon eine für den Zombie-Modus. Geplant sind folgende Karten:

Mansion: spielt auf Castro’s geheimer Anlage in Kuba
Cargo: ein eisiges Verladezentrum auf Grönland
Metro: spielt in einer urbanen Stadt irgendwo in Vietnam
Harbor: eine verlassene Schiffswerft in den USA

Die Map für den Zombie-Modus soll den Namen „Quarantine“ tragen und spielt in der berühmt-berüchtigten Area 51, eine militärische Basis mitten in der Wüste von Nevada.

Erstschlag – Eskalation – Vernichtung – Gegenschlag. Die DLC’s für Black Ops folgen offenbar einer klaren Linie und sind ein von langer Hand geplantes Konzept. Ein fünftes Kartenpaket scheint angesichts des nahen Releases von Modern Warfare 3 im November eher unwahrscheinlich. Auch wenn ein letztes Kapitel „Pacification“ – Beruhigung ein schönes Schlusswort für die kriegsgebeutelte Welt von Call of Duty sein könnte.

Rumours have been going around this week from sources stating that the final map pack for Activision FPS Call of Duty Black Ops will feature five zombie map packs.
4 of the maps will be the maps available only from the hardened edition of Black Ops and the final map will be a new one known as 'The Moon'.

Fourth content pack coming this quarter.

A fourth content pack dubbed "Rezurrection" for Call of Duty: Black Ops (http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/143/14349501.html) is slated for release this year, Activision (http://games.ign.com/objects/025/025004.html) confirmed.
As part of its earnings release today, the publisher said this new content pack is coming on August 23 first to Xbox 360 and then later to PlayStation 3 and PC.

The Rezurrection content pack includes:
- The all new Moon level

- Four re-mastered levels of Zombie lore: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese, the Zombie factory that started it all

- An enhanced Zombies Soundtrack including three tracks never before available for purchase

- A new Zombies Moon theme"For our fans who purchased the Black Ops Hardened or Prestige Editions and already own the four re-mastered maps, the other contents in the Rezurrection pack will be included at no cost, including Moon, the soundtrack and the theme," Activision said.

If you did not purchase Black Ops Hardened or Prestige Editions, Rezurrection will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points.

Call of Duty: Black Ops previously received map packs First Strike, Escalation, and Annihilation.

1. The wave gun effects all zombies in a given area that it is shot at, by pressing left on the d-pad the gun will split the wave gun in to two akimbo guns.Titled the voltage rays, and they have the same effect as the Wunderwaffe DG-2

2. When the QED device is thrown a dome shaped force field is spawned and all the zombies are magnetically pulled to it, and anything that is done to one zombie attached to the dome happens to all the other zombies attached to the device.

3. The new perk is Three-Gun Tequila. As you can probably guess from the title, this perk allows you to wield three weapons instead of the regular two. It costs 3,000 points to buy, its color is grey, and it symbol is a pistol with two phasing pistols stacked under it. If you get downed with this perk, you lose the weapon you were currently holding, but if you're revived and you buy the perk again, you get that weapon back.

4. The phasing zombie is like the napalm zombies and come randomly throughout the rounds. They appear momentarily then turn invisible and are only seen when shot at or attack a player. You can kinda see them like a blur, also their are no special rounds.

6. You cannot leave the base for more than fifteen seconds seconds if you don't buy a space suit, which can be bought in multiple locations around the map for 1,000 points. When you die, you lose yours.

7. In the power room, there is a large teleporter. To turn it on, you must activate ten different switches scattered around the map. Once you do that, the teleporter turns on for thirty seconds. If you can make it there and teleport, you will end up in Area 51. Here there is a fairly wide open area with the Pack-A-Punch machine in the center. After a minute, you will be teleported back to the moon.

Man braucht 3 Leute, einer springt in der Kuppel auf das Trampolin und während dieser in der Luft ist, schaltet er die Xbox aus.
Also auf den Knopf an der Konsole drücken.

Funktioniert 100 %.

Nachdem sich 2 die Erfolge geholt haben, kann ja ein anderer dann die Box ausmachen

Das vierte DLC-Paket für Call of Duty: Black Ops, "Reszurrection", ist bereits am 23. August 2011 auf Xbox Live erschienen.
Da die Variante für die PlayStation 3 und den PC am 22. September 2011 folgen wird, hat Activision nun einen zweiten Live-Action-Trailer aus den Zombie-Laboren veröffentlicht, in dem wieder ordentlich viel Splatter zu sehen ist.
